What social supports exist for families that need more assistance than you are qualified or able to give? In this workshop, we’ll consider the history and goals of the child welfare system, the agencies and roles at work for the good of children and families, and your role in working with this system and in guiding families to the help they need. Along the way we’ll address issues of equity and privilege that affect who gets help and of what kind.
